RU 07/2008 - ENGLAND, surviving aborted babies

ENGLAND: The governmental commission CEMACH (Confidential Enquiry into Maternal and Child Health) admitted by a public report, for the first time, that in English hospitals babies are surviving abortion. One counted “at least 66 cases for the year 2005”, announces the report. The babies were put aside, without care (and without telling anything to their mothers?). Half of the babies survived in a totally autonomous way until one hour, the other half lived beyond an hour, and one baby would have survived during 10 hours, while breathing without external help. Sixteen of the surviving babies were 22 weeks old and more, the other 50 babies would have been younger. Under the current English law, one can abort the babies up to 24 weeks of gestation (!), but if there are “anomalies” (deformations etc), one can kill them until the day before birth. The very honourable (?) “Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists” put forth the “recommendation that the babies of more than 22 weeks which survive the procedure of abortion, should be killed during delivery by an injection of “potassium chlorite”, to be sure to stop the heart. A professor with the private university clinic of St Georges in London, Dr. Trevor Stammers, acknowledged on this subject: “Despite all attemps at emotional neutrality, the heart does not work that way when you get a baby in front of you that colleagues on another floor of the same building would be trying to keep alive.”

Yes, dear friends, all this does not happen in Soviet Russia, nor in ancient Nazi Germany, but today in England. This report was published on February 4th, 2008. The only reaction of French president Nicolas Sarkozy, on February 14th, was this one: it’s necessary that each pupil knows by heart the name of a child who died at Auschwitz. That’s all! Nothing about the 7 million babies aborted in France, about the 1 billion babies assassinated in the womb of their mothers in the world (figure published by the U.N.), nothing about - last revelation! - tens and tens of babies who survive their own abortion while breathing and who are left to die on a table, during which time the medical staff is drinking a cup of coffee in the cafeteria… In France one does not even publish their number. This Society, this Government, this medical personnel is NAUSEATING !

The day will come when the Christians, who know that Life is sacrosanct, given by God, unviolable by the hand of man, will understand that it’s impossible to live, side by side, with these assassins of babies at the same table, in the same house, the same street, the same Republic. Will come the day of an atrocious dispute about the babies, probably in the form of a persecution of the Church and the Christians. This dispute announces itself everywhere: the American presidential election 2008 is getting decided around this topic; in the U.N. some are proposing a “moratorium” on abortion, supported by the Vatican and already by several States (and the presidential candidate Berlusconi in Italy); more and more doctors refuse to proceed to the abortion… The criminals start to get nervous: they place enormous billboards in the subways to mislead the women on the reality of abortion-assassination; someones get irritated on TV (Simone Veil) while fulminating that abortion should not return on the table as a political subject; adults having survived an abortion raise their voices as terrifying witnesses. Here is Mrs. Gianna Jessen, 28, musician at Nashville/Tennessee, who survived her own abortion. The SUNDAY TIMES of London reports that she testified before an English parliamentary commission that she was left with cerebral palsy, but recently she participated in the London marathon to collect funds for the rescue of the babies from death. She insists: “If abortion is about women's rights, then what were my rights?” - (ru; cf. SD Nov. 27, 2005; LifeSiteNews Feb. 4, 2008).
