- INTERNATIONAL (ru, Aug. 7th 2010). Please take a little moment, during this summer break, to meditate a news item which reached our editor’s desk from a country of which we would like to hide the name. "In this country, people lived happy and satisfied. They had everything they needed, especially good water, since most of the homes had their own sources. However, many owners of wells didn’t appreciate this treasure and preferred to fill up their wells in order to win some more space for construction. But the king, a wise and providing man, decreed laws for the protection of the sources, in spite of the claims of the people. He often explained: ‘No life without water, no future without water’ ! One day the king died, and a new one came to power. He didn’t really know his predecessor and laughed at his unimaginative ideas! He permitted the wells to be filled up and even covered with concrete! He said that he would never dictate to anybody his conduct, and that everyone should decide by himself what he wanted to do with his source. Thus more and more sources were closed, or their water was drifted towards the sea. When the water began significantly to lack in the country and fields started to dry up, the king and his ministers were laughing. They imported more and more water from outside. The cost of this water was rather high, and  since it was a mixture with sea water, it had to be desalinated. But the government continued to import water and subsidized even the filling-up of the sources, in order not to restrict, as they said, the freedom of the people and to enable everyone to live as he wanted to live. In the meantime all had understood that the old king had been right with his sermon : ‘No life without water, no future without water!’ Everyone observed that the crops diminished and that the country became more and more impoverished; all understood that one should reopen and protect the sources. But the powerful in the country didn’t wish at any price to admit that they had been wrong! So they increased the taxes and announced to the population new imports of very expensive water, however they didn’t mention with a single word how many sources there were in the country and how many were closed year by year, and that this water was of optimal quality, and that the reopening of the sources would be the least costly solution and that it would be the most promising one to solve the problem. None of the responsible people had the courage to pronounce this truth, and the smaller people who were yelling the truth, were reduced to silence and ridiculed as stubborn conservatives and enemies of the progress. Nobody knows if this country will yet exist in 10 or 20 years. One thing is sure: it will not be the same country as today. » This is a meditation with the title KLARTEXT (clear text), proposed this week by Mgr. Andreas Laun, auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Salzburg in Austria (Internet sites cath.net et cathTube.com). As this bishop is known for being a distinguished lawyer of the pro-life issue in Austria, one easily understands that the water, here, means emerging human life, the closing of the wells is abortion, the import of water is frenzied immigration, and distress is the final mad race towards the abyss of our modern and ‘progressive’ countries along the path of the legalized collective suicide by killing the babies. The country which ‘will not be the same as today’ is, of course, Austria, France, the whole of Europe.

- CATHOLIC CHURCH (ru, August 7th 2010). We should remember. Here's a title published on June 17th, 1971, in the French newspaper Le Figaro: "Rome makes mandatory the new rite of the Mass". Extracts : "Vatican has now asked the priests worldwide to use the new liturgy of the Mass such as it emerges from the works of Vatican II. This decision achieves the definitive abandonment of the liturgy of saint Pius V. … In taking the decision to abandon the rite of the Council of Trent, Paul VI turns definitively a page; however, by imposing the new rite, this puts an end to experimentations which from now on don’t have any reasons to exist. » If therefore today Benedict XVI explains to us faithful, in his Motu Proprio of July 7th, 2007, that the former rite had never been banned in the Church, this raises the question of obedience. The real religious obedience, according to our saints, applies always to small and medium-sized things, but in the essential questions, such as the holy liturgy of all times, it may require sometimes formal disobedience, even towards the Pope, as Mgr Marcel Lefebvre heroically practiced it.
