RU 08/2009 - ROME, letter of the 4 bishops to B16

- ROME: Dear readers of our weekly press releases RU, currently there is a big disorder in Rome, one can hear one thing and the opposite if it. Don’t listen to it. It’s the moment to return to the essential things. Major events are occurring at the very head of the Church. Instead of letting ourselves divert by certain big trumpets below the pope who dare to speak in his name, even if they are called cardinal Re (president of the Congregation for the bishops) or Father Lombardi (Jesuit, spokesperson of the Vatican), let us rather study the original documents, in particular those which are directly on the desk of Benedict XVI. Hereunder we quote an essential document which has been published only now and which summarizes the true context of the issue, a letter to the pope signed by the 4 bishops of the PSSPX whose excommunication has been lifted by the pope who knows what he does. Complete quotation of the letter:

“Priestly Society of Saint Pius X. To His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI. - Most Holy Father,

In sentiments of thanksgiving we wish to express our deep gratitude for Your act of paternal  kindness and for the apostolic courage by which You rendered ineffective the measure which imposed upon us twenty years ago as a consequence of our episcopal consecrations. Your decree dated January 21, 2009 restores in some way the reputation of the venerated founder of our priestly Society, His Grace Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre. It also procures a great good to the Church, so it seems to us, by doing justice to the priests and faithful worldwide who, attached to the Tradition of the Church, will no longer be unjustly stigmatized for having kept the Faith of their fathers. - Because of this combat for the Faith, we assure Your Holiness, according to the wish You expressed, that we ‘will spare no effort in exploring as yet unresolved questions through requisite discussions with the authorities of the Holy See’. Indeed we desire to begin, as soon as possible, exchanges with representatives of Your Holiness concerning doctrines opposed to the Magisterium of all time. - By following this path still necessary, mentioned by Your Holiness, we hope to help the Holy See to bring the appropriate remedy to the loss of the Faith inside the Church. - The Immaculate Virgin Mary has clearly guided the steps of Your Holiness toward us, She will continue Her gracious intercession in His favour. With this assurance, we filially ask the Universal Pastor to bless four of His sons most attached to the Successor of Peter and to His charge of feeding the lambs and the sheep of the Lord. - Menzingen, January 29, 2009, on the feast of Saint Francis de Sales. +Bernard Fellay, +Richard Williamson, +Bernard Tissier de Mallerais, +Alfonso de Galarreta”

End of quotation of this letter, which is a true `roadmap' for the future. Because what is projected here, and is confirmed by the pope, is to review, in the face of the apostasy disaster which is increasing in the Church, the principal decrees of the Vatican II Council, in order to check their conformity with the catholic Tradition of all times. A titanic work! Naturally, this dissatisfies the mafiosi who were introduced into the Vatican since the Vatican II Council (we are rather polite, because Paul VI called them ‘the smokes of Satan’). This is why they are so loudly screaming since the excommunication lifting of January 21st, 2009, by diverting the attention to lower things instead of meditating the essential issue: The LOSS OF FAITH IN THE CHURCH. A loom lights up at the horizon! – (ru)
