RU 04/2008 - ITALY, SWEDEN, FRANCE
Three good news this week, rather a rare event. Deo gratias! - ENGLAND: Mr. Christopher Bronk Ramsey, director of the Oxford Radiocarbon Accelerator, declared in an interview with the BBC, according to a front page report of the Italian daily LA STAMPA of January 26th, that the results of 1988 of C14 concerning the age of the Shroud of Turin (dated in 1988 by the “scientists” as being from the period 1260 to 1390 after J.C.) is being called into question. It was precisely his institute, as well as the C14 laboratories of Zurich/Switzerland and Tucson/USA, which, under the direction of his predecessor, had concluded with the not-authenticity of this Relic preserved and venerated by the Church since many centuries, and most of the Church authorities, including some of the Vatican and Turin, had slavishly inclined to this verdict of “modern science”. Ramsey admitted, according to Mgr Guiseppe Ghiberti, president of the Church’s commission for the Shroud of Turin according to daily newspaper AVVENIRE of the same January 26th, that the testing method called C14 would not be applicable to the Shroud of Turin because of the various circumstances of its travel through the centuries and the countries which modified the chemical and other characteristics of it. Ramsey would have said textually to the BBC: “It’s possible that we were mistaken.” In confirmation, Mgr Ghiberti in particular specified that this fabric did not arrive to us at the end of the 19th century “in a sealed container”. Ramsey pretexts that in 1988 the “scientists” would not have known the varied history of the Shroud (!) and that the research of C14 would have made, since that time, further progress: the institutes would have probably analyzed organic matters on the Shroud which were not integral part of the original Shroud. For the Holy Tunic of Argenteuil, the C14 verdict of 2004 was equally fatal, and wrong, according to the simple law “the same cause - the same results”. The colloquium “The Holy Tunic of Argenteuil in front of Science”, organized by COSTA (UNEC) in November 2005 at Argenteuil, had logically concluded that the test with Radiocarbon is not adapted to the Relics which have much travelled, and that the C14 results practiced on the major Relics of Christianity are thus necessarily erroneous. It’s comforting to note that the “scientific” criminals themselves now seem to return to reason, after exactly 20 years of error and destructions. - Currently the association COELI (UNEC) is gradually launching in France, Europe and in the world an action of mailing postcards to the Holy Father, in order to obtain that he may declare the Shroud of Turin an “authentic vestige of O.L. Jesus-Christ”, which could inaugurate a new era of evangelization in a technical and scientific world like ours. One can get this postcard (in French), sold by batches of 10 cards for the global sum of 10 Euro (15 USD) by batch, mailing included, with UNEC, BP 70114, F-95210 St-Gratien, - -
